The Rundown: Rennie discovers a dangerous conspiracy at the heart of the school that has ensnared her best friend.

Rennie finds herself having to take another bath in order to get herself together to return to school and find out what happened to Sofie. After returning to school, she decides to warn Constance to stop making fun of her friend before going out to find Sofie and making up with her.
Rennie decides to pay Bodhi a visit and make him pay for playing with Sofie. When she returns to school, she discovers something darker. Something that will force her to not only take care of the Constance issue, but to also confront her favorite teacher who tells her a dark truth related to Sofie and the dean.
The Story: Wagner brilliantly expands the scope of this story in this issue with a conspiracy that adds more depth and stakes for Rennie. The story continues to show how the character is growing and evolving as she discovers a purpose for her dark impulses. This issue gives the character a new and interesting focus for those impulses and I am curious to see what she does with them when she confronts the dean in her search for Sofie.
The Art: Hilyard delivers fantastic art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of this series and how it works with the dark themes of the story itself.
